For this tutorial you will need:
PaintShop Pro - a free trial is available here.

My SuperBladePro preset.
Download into your BladePro environments and textures folder.

A line drawing, like a stained glass pattern or coloring page.
It needs to be a clean image with thick black lines.
You may use the pattern above. Download it here.

I was trying to make a Blade Pro Preset that simulated stained glass.
Along the way I came up with this preset and I thought it looked interesting.
I hope you like it too!

1. Open your image in PSP. Press "Shift D" to duplicate image. Close original.

2. Using your Magic Wand, select the black lines. If all of the lines are not selected, go to Selections > Modify > Select Similiar. Alternately, you may hold down the [shift] key while using the Magic Wand to select all black areas.

3. Effects > PlugIns > Flaming Pear > SuperBladePro. Open my preset: ls_puffmetal.q5q and apply to your selections.

4. Selections > None.

5. Using your Magic Wand, select the areas you want to fill in. Flood fill with the color of your choice for that area. If more than one area is to be the same color, hold down the [shift]key while selecting with the Magic Wand. You may fill with a gradient if you choose.

6. After each area is selected and flood filled with color, apply the ls_puffmetal.q5q SuperBladePro preset.

7. And that's it! Easy and fast. I hope you enjoy this tutorial.

Here's two more examples of my Puffed Metallics.
The image on the right had the background filled with a gradient.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
